"The patient today with Multiple
Sclerosis has two elderly cats she is caring for
and was so happy to listen to the Relax CD during
her massage. She said she was quickly relaxed
and really enjoyed being so involved with the
music and the cats. She said by feeling the purrs
and hearing them, she could tell when the cat's
purrs changed and felt she was surrounded by the
purring and music. For an MS patient, her muscles
appeared to be more relaxed today during her massage.
The other patient who listened to Relax was in a
very depressed state of mind because of recent life
changes. She said at first she could not feel or
hear purring. Soon after I began the massage, she
calmed and settled into the music and said she could
